My 1st time ever... to cough blood out from my mouth. =S
On that very day, shortly after we returned from a short trip to JB, the non-stop coughing began. While in JB, I was already sneezing non-stop till my nose felt so painful. I wasn't scared at that moment of coughing out blood, rather, I was amazed. Haha. Dear stared at me with eyes wide opened and he wanted to bring me to the doc right away. I showed his mum the tissue paper which was half soaked with blood. She then told us it could be due to heatiness. Probably dehydration as I did not drink much water when I was in JB.
I decided to skip work the next day as I wasn't feeling very well. And I kind of regretted taking the MC because when I returned to work today...
MY WORKLOAD SIMPLY PILED UP!!! ARGH... :(

TGIF! :D
Celebrated my colleague's (Huilan) birthday in advance today. Her actual birthday is Monday but apparently, she has applied leave. Duh..
It was quite last minute that my colleagues decided to ask our Boss to "collaborate" with us in the surprise plan. Haha. As our Boss has a reputation of making people fear her, it was not difficult to trick the birthday gal into believing that my Boss was really scolding her over work-related matters. While the lecture took place, all of us were already crowding outside our Boss' room preparing to surprise her with the cake and sing her a birthday song.
Sidetrack a bit, I must say that within our clique at work, Huilan is most meticulous and observant. Therefore, whenever I have to submit documents for higher management to acknowledge or sign, I will get her to check through if I have miss out any details.
So far, I enjoyed working in this company. I like the environment (cos it's the Airport!) and colleagues are fun-loving and helpful. Our division is dominated with female employees, estimated ratio of females to males, I would say 5:1. Haha.. So you can imagine how noisy our office can get, when the girls from different teams chit-chat among ourselves.
One of the very few handsome / smart looking guys is a manager from a different team within our division. Rumour has it that he is not straight! On top of that, in his team, he is the only manager and the only guy. Meaning to say, all his subordinates are female and he gets along pretty well with them! Haha.. My colleague nicknamed him as "No.1 guy" cos of the ranking she gave to all the guys in the 'looks department'. -.-
Huilan with our boss, who helped to trick the birthday gal as part of our surprise plan..
we bought her a wristlet from Coach..
Can you guess who's my manager? Haha..
There's another manager in this pic too.. Guess! :P
Yay~~ It's the weekend today! Think I'm gonna hibernate either at home or bunk over at dear's place. Feel like watching movies!!! My last movie was G.I. Joe lor.. How sad man.. There are so many movies I have in mind. :(

Had a bad week at work.
Was sorta scolded or rather, being nagged by my Boss 2 days in a row. Made some careless mistakes due to the workload that was piling up on my table. Of course, I have no one to blame but myself for being CARELESS and BLUR! And having a huge workload is definitely not an excuse since this is what my job is all about. To be sharp and meticulous amidst the workload given. :(
Well, on a positive note, I have had a relaxing 3 weeks in September, while some of my colleagues were struggling to clear their deadlines. So now it's my turn to get busy again since there are new deadlines coming up. It's only my 2.5 months in this job, I won't give up just yet. I'm gonna challenge myself to excel in this line. "Never say die" is my motto! Haha..
Gonna catch the F1 Singapore Grand Prix on tv later!Hope that Hamilton will emerge as the winner tonight! :)

I LOVE LONG WEEKENDS !!! ("V")
Dear's at work, and here I am, slacking at his place on a lovely Sunday. Haha. I hate to be in town or anywhere crowded on PHs. Never like to squeeze with the crowd, and especially being stepped on by the person walking behind me. Bleah!
Alright, as promised in my earlier entry. I'm gonna post up photos of my HK trip. Haha.. Be prepared for the super long entry ya! :P
Day 1:
He simply refused to take a proper pic with me! Grrr..
Camwhored for awhile after we settled down from the Airport. Hehe.

Dim Sum breakfast at our favourite restaurant near our hotel.. *drools*
On the way to Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha... A pity that the cable car was under maintenance! We took the bus instead. :(
So near yet so far...
About to embark on our climb..
Yes! We finally made it to the top! *prays* :D
SOGO shopping centre
I like the clothes from this boutique.. And it was having sales!! *thumbs up*
Causeway Bay is a great place for shopping! Though not dirt cheap, but their clothes are up to standard and worth the money spent. :)
Day 3:
This station is where the industrial centre for cheap clothes, shoes, accessories, etc, is!
As our previous trip was 2 years ago, we took quite some time to search for the Industrial Centre. Haha..
The ever famous Kee Wah Bakery
Finally found the place! But it's closed on SUNDAYS!!! Damn, made a wasted trip.. We went back to this place the following day.

APM Millenium City at Kwun Tong
KFC!! Didn't see any KFC restaurant on our previous trip lor... So happy to find it in APM Millenium City mall!
Festival Walk shopping mall
This mall is damn huge. Even bigger than vivocity! -.-lll
Dear looked so shagged out.
Tired after the endless walking... Haha...
My legs are aching from the climb at Lantau Island the day before. :P
We saw a group of people crowding around something and taking pictures, so out of curiosity, we decided to join in the crowd. Hahaha..
So... the crowd was amazed by the cute and unusual watermelons of various shapes.
I wonder who will buy such humongous & expensive watermelon back home! 70kg leh, for goodness!
Square-shaped watermelon, wrapped like a gift.
Heart-shaped watermelon
New Town Plaza at Sha Tin.. Yet another huge mall!
Heard so much about Snoopy Place from my friend, and so I was determined to check out this place!
Volkswagen roadshow We plan to switch to Volkswagen GTI in a couple of years' time.. Hehe..
Our dinner at KFC. I feel it tasted so much better than SG's. :))
Sorry didn't have the chance to take a picture of the complete meal cos we were too busy diggin' in! Haha..
Not "finger lickin' good" but "soft pure flexible".. Haha.. I'm amused with the word "flexible" used to describe their chicken.
Goodbye Sha Tin!
Day 4:
This stall is located near our hotel.. The menu is the reason we were tempted to try out the food here! Lol..
Looks plain ya? It's Wan Ton Mee in disguise.. HAHA!
Dear had been craving for their beef noodles...
Big Wan Tons revealed from underneath the noodles!
Lots of prawn inside... *yummy*
Harbour City! This is where all the luxury brands reign...
Who is this "gu niang"... Wahaha..
Dear was complaining that his back was all sweaty and wet after much walking under the scorching sun, so i volunteered to switch our bags for awhile. See, i'm such a thoughtful gf. :P
Caught by paparazzi! Hahaha..
Hunting for his Lacoste bag...
Camwhored again while waiting to cross the road.
Finally bought it! :)
Erm yeah, our 2nd round of Wan Ton noodles within 3 hours. Haha..

PS: TST is just 1 station away from our hotel.
My Kate Spade bag! hehe.. :D
Forgot to take a pic of my bag so just grabbed a pic from the website.

Dear's favourite fermented beancurd.. *stinks*
I kept eating non-stop as I walk... haha..
Hua Yuen Street Quite disappointed with the place as most of the shops located along the pavement are converted to F&B restaurants... :(
Charlie Brown Cafe
Snoopy was my favourite childhood character! So cute!!
The food and drinks at Charlie Brown Cafe were quite overrated. Not exactly very fantastic, just the ambience and theme of the cafe which attracted people to it.

Sunday, September 13
Saw a touching video from Ari's blog and many thoughts came to my mind after watching it.
How often do you think back on how your parents painstakingly brought you up till you are able to earn money? Do you feel an inch of guilt when you throw your temper at them simply because they nagged too much or did careless mistakes, which you could have done yourself too? Are you providing them with a comfortable and happy life now that they are getting older?
All these are often forgotten by many of us, including myself. Especially in the competitve society today, everyone desires for a luxurious life with the 5 Cs. Hence all they think about is earning more money, climb up faster on the corporate ladder and often, neglect their family at home.
I'm guilty of some of the abovementioned, and I believe everyone of you did likewise in some ways or another too. However, it is never too late to show our appreciation and we should try to spend quality time with them as much as possible before it's really too late. :)
I love shopping with my boy.
I love KTV with my kakis.
I love manicure and spa treatments.
That's coz...
I'm a girl. And a beautiful one too.
The DIVA ♥
A L I C I A Destiny lies in my own hands.
I speak my mind and am not afraid to voice out my thoughts.
